AGREEMENT TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
By submitting your first payment to Sew Many Places you are agreeing to all terms and conditions as listed below.
TOTAL TOUR PRICE:
Tour prices, excluding cruises, or unless noted, are based on airfare, land rates and rates of exchange in effect at the time of arrangements. All rates are subject to change without prior notice. Should the rates go up or down prior to departure, an adjustment will be made. As all services are contracted and prepaid on a group basis, no refunds can be granted for any accommodations, services or events which are not used. If you deviate from the tour, no consideration can be given to a refund for unused services. Our tours are subject to a minimum number of people. Should fewer than 30 participate a price adjustment may be necessary. All trips are subject to change at the discretion of Sew Many Places. Sew Many Places reserves the right to change or eliminate scheduled instructors, or escorts from any land tour or cruise based on the number of participants or other factors. Some restrictions apply.
INTERNATIONAL QUILT FESTIVAL PRICING
For all tours, classes and events quoted in USD the following restrictions apply. The prices we receive from the tour operators in Ireland are quoted to us in Euros and the prices of these tours reflect the Euro exchange at 1 Euro = 1.4 USD. As the Euro fluctuates, the price in USD can change. Upon final payment date the price in USD may be adjusted to reflect the current Euro exchange rate. reserves the right to implement a fuel supplement for all guests if the NYMEX oil price exceeds $70 per barrel.
AIR TRANSPORTATION:
If Sew Many Places is providing flight arrangements, flight reservations
are being held on behalf of the group on scheduled IATA carriers and based on 6-day
minimum, 30-day maximum fares. If a promotional airfare is broken or extended for any
reason, an additional fare may be payable. Tickets must be issued 31 days prior to departure.
Any change in return flights, after ticket is issued, carries a mandatory charge of $200
per person, plus deviation and change fees described elsewhere. IF TICKET IS CANCELLED AFTER BEING ISSUED, AIRLINE REGULATIONS STIPULATE NO REFUND OF FARE. Additional
non-recoverable airline penalties of up to $100 may be assessed for cancellations received
within 120 days of departure.
DOMESTIC AIRFARE:
For those who make domestic air arrangements to the originating
city of your tour, Sew Many Places strongly recommends the purchase
of tickets that can be changed without heavy fees and penalties as flight schedules are
always subject to change. Sew Many Places may be able to assist with
economical add on airfares. Call our domestic Air Department for specifics on your
departure and home city. (877-887-1188).
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS:
Specially selected hotels based on double occupancy with private bath. A single room
supplement will be charged where requested and available. If you do not have a roommate
and Sew Many Places is unable to arrange one, you will be billed for
the single room supplement. All singles are subject to availability.
MEALS:
Breakfast and Table D'Hote dinners are provided daily except where
noted in the itinerary. An extra charge will be made when coffee, tea or other beverages
are not included in the menu of the day with the dinner meal.
INSURANCE:
Travel insurance is recommended on all tours and should be purchased at time of deposit. We highly recommend insurance. Please contact our office at (877-887-1188) for more information.
ILLNESS:
Sew Many Places will not have liability regarding the provision of medical care of any illnesses or accidents that occur before, after or during the course of a cruise or tour. Participants travel of their own accord and are responsible for their own health care.
TIPS AND TAXES:
Tips and taxes normally appearing on hotel and restaurant bills as
"service" are included, as are all government and local taxes on hotels and meals,
porterage of one suitcase per person, housekeeping, reception and dining room staffs.
Airport departure taxes are not included. Tips to Tour Manager and guides and driver are
not included.
DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATIONS:
A deposit per person is required to secure reservations, the deposit amount varies and will be assessed per trip. This sum will be applied to the price of the tour. Any balance is to be paid in full no later than 120 days before departure of tour. Final payments received at Sew Many Places after 30 days before departure must include a $25 late payment fee. (This does not apply for new reservations made after 30 days of departure.) Reservations made within 120 days of departure must include full payment. Credit cards and checks are accepted. Funds for checks returned for any reason must be returned by overnight mail in the form of a certified check or money order and must include a $50 return check fee. If for any reason your reservation is canceled before the final payment is made, you will be assessed an administrative fee of $35 per person. On or after final payment date, full 100% penalties apply, no refund will be paid on your reservation. If a trip is rescheduled after final payment and participants must cancel, there will be no refunds except from travel insurance if it was purchased. Full refund does not include tickets from vendors including but not limited to theater tickets, airline tickets or any other vendor, that is out of the control of Sew Many Places. Refunds are processed immediately and should be received within four to six weeks.
CHANGE FEE:
All changes not received in writing at least 30 days prior to departure
will incur a $35 change fee per person for each revision.
DEVIATIONS:
A service charge of $50 p.p. will be applied for any deviations made
in tour, (where possible). Plus any additional air or land charges incurred.
LAND ARRANGEMENTS:
Sew Many Places reserves the right to change the
itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances or emergencies.
MEDICAL ISSUES:
Sew Many Places must be advised in writing, prior
to any booking, of any medical condition, physical, emotional or mental, which may require
professional attention during the trip or may require the use of special equipment. If you
fail to notify us of any such conditions, Sew Many Places may refuse to allow you
to take the trip and you will forfeit the cost of the trip; and in such event we shall have
no liability, financial or otherwise.
If you are so challenged, you must bring and be responsible for all necessary items related
to your condition. If any such condition arises after the trip is booked, you must advise
us in writing immediately. Failure to advise us shall release Sew Many Places and all professional personal from any liability related to such condition or it's
treatment.
We cannot accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy. If you require a wheelchair, you must provide your own small, collapsible wheelchair. On some trips, and some features on
some trips, may not be wheelchair-accessible. We cannot guarantee any wheelchair assistance
or accessibility in international destinations.
Sew Many Places reserves the right to decline any trip participant whose
condition, in our opinion, may affect the health, safety or enjoyment of other
participants.
Sew Many Places is not responsible for the costs of any medical treatment
you may require during the trip. Under no circumstances is Sew Many Places
responsible for the quality of medical care, or lack thereof, you may receive while on the
trip.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sew Many Places and their representatives act only
as agents for the tour members in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, sightseeing,
restaurants or any other services in connection with the itinerary. They will exercise
reasonable care in making such arrangements, however, they do not assume any liability
whatsoever, for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay to person or property because
of any acts of war or terrorism, any act of default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant,
company or person rendering any of the services included in the tours. The tickets, coupons,
tariffs, rules or contracts currently in use by any carrier, hotel, restaurant or other
contractor rendering services shall constitute the sole contract between such contractor
and the tour member. Sew Many Places, or the organizer, accept no
responsibility for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery
breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather or any other cause beyond their personal
control. No carrier shall be responsible for any act, omission or event during the time
passengers are not on board its own conveyance. The right is reserved to cancel or change
itineraries, or substitute services without notice and to decline to accept or retain any
passenger at any time. In view of statutory or contractual limitations that may apply to
personal injury or property damage losses, the purchase of accident and baggage insurance
is strongly recommended.
INSURANCE:
Travel insurance is highly recommended on all tours and should be purchased at the time of deposit. Travel insurance includes medical, dental, emergency transportation, and accident coverage up to a certain amount. The insurance also covers baggage protection and delay including lost or stolen items. In the event of a trip cancellation or interruption, the traveler would be covered up to a certain amount. Our travel insurance also offers a 24-hour hotline service to assist you in solving any medical, legal or travel-related emergency. Please contact our office at (877-887-1188) for more information.
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO:
During the tour or cruise, Sew Many Places will be taking photographs and recording video of our guests. Some of these photos and videos may be used in promotion, marketing and advertising for our company. If you do not wish to have any images of you, either in photographs or on a video recording, you can contact our office and let us know. A representative from our office must reply and send you a confirmation that we agree. If you do not contact our office prior to the departure date of your tour or cruise, or you do not receive a letter or email back from the Sew Many Places office, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
ROOMMATE ASSISTANCE:
If you are a single traveler who has asked Sew Many Places to assist in finding another single person to travel with you, all responsibility for this arrangement will be between you and the person you are making the arrangements with. Sew Many Places assumes no responsibility for this arrangement whatsoever.
Furthermore, should this roommate cancel from the trip, you will be responsible for paying the single occupancy rate of the tour, should final payment date is past. If you cancel off your trip after the final payment date because your roommate cancels off, you will be penalized 100% of the tour/cruise cost.
PERSONAL INFORMATION SHEETS:
Following your reservation and deposit for a trip, a personal information sheet will be sent to you to complete and sign in agreement with our Terms and Conditions. Prior to sending out travel documents, a personal information sheet for every person included in the traveling party must be filled-out, signed, and returned to our office. Travel documents will not be sent out to any individual(s) who has not returned their signed, personal information sheet to our office.
LEGAL:
All terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. Any legal actions or claims must be filed within Bureau County, Illinois.
