IRELAND- Two opportunities to go!

I am very happy to announce the two Ireland trips we have scheduled for quilters in 2010. The first is happening in the Spring and the other is scheduled for the summer.

The first exciting tour in the Emerald Isle is sponsored by Rosie’s Calico Cupboard Quilt Shop in California. We have 12 space left on that tour, so if you are interested in going in the spring, be sure you look at the itineraray listed on our Sew Many Places website and contact us as soon as possible. Rosie’s husband is also coming along, so ladies we encourage you to invite your husbands to join us.

Our trip highlights include a behind the scenes tour of the Waterford Crystal Factory (if they are still open), the visit to Blarney Castle (to kiss the Blarney Stone)and Woolen Mills, meeting with the ladies from the Kilarney Quilt Guild for a special evening of show and tell, watching a demonstration at the Avoca textile facility, enjoying a sheep herding demonstration, and traveling throughout Ireland to the Dingle Peninsula, Ring of Kerry, Kilarney, Dublin, St. Kevin’s Monastic settlement, and more. No trip to Ireland is complete without seeing the Ring of Kerry-it’s just not!

You’ll even have an opportunity to learn how to make homemade scones from a professional chef in Kilarney! And did I mention all the opportunities to shop for Irish linens and great items at the Blarney Woolen Mills.

Kaye England will be repeating this exact tour next summer, and yes, I will be onboard for that one too! There will also be an opportunity for you to enjoy a special quilt class with Kaye, based on “everything Irish.” It will be an Ireland trip to remember. I always say, “Travel with a quilter’s eye.” Our tours are designed by quilters, for quilters and escorted by your’s truly, so you know you are in very good hands and will be pampered every step of the way. :)

Sew Many Places has been taking quilters to Ireland for years, so I hope you can join us on one of these two special Ireland tours. And don’t forget, we have a minimum deposit, and a fantastic payment plan you can take advantage of.

Sew Many Places in Ireland-no one does it better! :)

CHINA 2009-THE ULTIMATE!!!!

Hi Quilters!
Tomorrow we are launching our 2009 China tour. If any of you would like to be the first to receive our day to day itinerary, please email me direct and I will get it to you. Jim@SewManyPlaces.com

We have added a 4-night Yangtze River Cruise to our package, in addition to two nights in Shanghai.

It is a total of 15-days, which is great, because as long as you are flying that far away, you might as well be able to stay there at least two weeks!

As with all the China tours we have escorted and designed for quilters, this one is deluxe in every way. And you can be sure, you will be pampered beyond your wildest dreams because not only am I personally coming along, but we will have our very special quilting celebrity, Kaye England onboard with us as well. Kaye and I have been bringing quilters to China for years now, in fact, we have been bringing quilters to China longer than any tour company. And believe me, when you travel somewhere this exotic, it’s good to know you are going with people who have been there many times.

Another great addition to our China tour is that fact that you can set up a payment plan and make payments on the trip until it is paid in full. This is sure helpful for anyone who is watching their budget.

Let me know if you’d like me to send you the China tour information. Our ad will be in this next issue of American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine, so be sure you watch for it.

And if any of you who are reading this have traveled with me to China in the past, it would be great to hear your comments on how you think Sew Many Places did.

Thanks a million!

INDIANAPOLIS OR BUST!

This week, Kaye England is hosting her annual Quilt Shop Owner’s retreat and I’ve been invited! Dozens of Quilt Shop Owners from all over the world have arrived in Indianapolis for a one week fun, entertaining, educational, and inspiring workshop with one of the greatest icons in the quilt industry.

As an invited guest speaker, I will have the opportunity to show these quilt shop owners how they can make a lot of money by affiliating themselves with Sew Many Places and creating not only extra cash flow in their business, but also an opportunity to go on any of our quilting cruises or tour for FREE!

It’s a three hour drive from my home to the downtown Hyatt hotel, where Kaye is hosting her event. I like a longer drive like this because I get caught up on phone calls, can think without interruptions and have some time to myself for just singing along to songs on the radio or my ipod.

I understand this event has taken place in Florida for many years, and this year, it was moved to Kaye’s hometown of Indy, where it sold out in a matter of a couple weeks!

Following Kaye’s quilt shop owners workshop, she will be providing a weekend for consumers. I understand this has also sold out very quickly.

Looking forward to seeing one of my favorite people in the world and making my presentation to the group!

If any of you are quilt shop owners and would like more information about what I am providing for Kaye’s group, or if you would like to sign up or be put on the waiting list for Kaye’s workshop next year, please email me. Jim@SewManyPlaces.com

Indy here I come!
