PARIS RECAP

Dear Lord, where are the days flying to?  I can’t believe how busy we were in Paris!  I was hoping to talk about the trip on a more day to day basis, but low and behold, we were going non-stop!  Well it was a really fun trip, from going to see Monet’s Gardens and Home in the charming town of Giverney to taking a really fun boat ride on the Seine River in the evening after dinner, Paris is beautiful.

The quilting classes were really interesting and fun, and I want to especially thank Joan Shay and Margaret Docherty for taking care of that.

People have asked me if  I am planning another trip there, and the answer is yes.  If you are interested, please call our office or email me so we can send you the announcement once the plans are finalized.

Finally, if any of you who were on the trip have the copy of the email list, could you please send it to me.  I am hoping someone has it and it wasn’t left on the bus.  I know that some of the group was wanting to be able to contact some people.

Thanks to all who participated and special thanks to the American Quilting Society.

Bonjour quilters!

We are here in the spectacular city of Paris, France.  Our flight went very well, our guide and driver were there to greet us, and we have had our first full day of sightseeing.

We spent a couple hours in the Lourve Museum this afternoon, toured around the city and we are all feeling more comfortable with our surroundings.

Yesterday, we did manage to see a wonderful tour of a Fabric Museum, on our way to our hotel.  Although we were tired from the flight, our group managed to keep their eyes open and enjoyed the experience.

Tomorrow Joan Shay and Margaret Docherty are having class here at the hotel in the morning and tomorrow night we will all enjoy a boat ride on the River Seine.

I’ll keep you posted as the days go by.  So far, everything is going very well!

HAVE YOU TRAVELED WITH US BEFORE?

Hello quilters!

If you have traveled with us on any of our Sew Many Places cruises or tours, we’d love to hear from you!  Please send us a testimonial we can use on our website, and we will send you a certificate for $25.00 off any future trip.

Ok, I know this sounds like a bribe, but it’s not. :)   A lot of you have had a great time on our trips, so write something that other people may want to know about, like our services, how did we take care of you when you are on one of our trips, what kind of hotels do we use, what was it like to travel with me, things like that.

If you are single, what did it feel like to travel with us as a single person.  Were you looked after, did you feel included or left out, you know what I mean.

Thanks for your time!

Jim

CALLING ALL QUILT SHOPS, GUILDS & TEACHERS!

Hi everyone-

We are adding a special feature to our website which will provide a link from our homepage to the homepage of every quilt store, guild and teacher who wants to “cross link” with us.

Annie K. is in charge of all of this, so if you would like to participate, contact her at annie@SewManyPlaces.com and tell her.

We are getting about 10,000 hits a week on our website, so this would be good advertising for everyone who wants to do this with us.

Also, we will feature a teacher, shop and guild every week on our homepage.

So if this applies to you or someone you know, please contact Annie to set it up!

Thanks!

Jim
