Céad Míle Fáilte ~
100,000 Welcomes!

We would like to welcome you to join us for the 1st annual International Quilt Festival of Ireland. This one-of-a-kind festival is unlike other quilt festivals and conventions around the world, because of it's unique location. Hosted on the grounds of the beautiful National University of Ireland campus in Galway, Ireland, where we are designing a special Quilter's Village on the banks of the River Corrib. Here you'll be able to walk around and enjoy all the special attractions this village has to offer, from a farmer's market, the dining pavilion, the School House for our hands-on quilting classes, over a dozen special quilt exhibits and the Town Hall with over 50 vendors with all the newest products!

Located nearby the Quilter's is the Wicked Thimble Pub, where you can relax and enjoy yourself as you listen to live Irish music. There's even a local village movie house where you'll be able to see the 1950's John Wayne & Maureen O'Hara movie, "The Quiet Man" that was filmed locally.

The International Quilt Festival of Ireland also boasts some of the first ever events to be seen at a quilt festival, these include special programs designed just for non-quilters (Yes Ladies! You can bring your Husbands!), on-location workshops where you can see and learn from Irish crafters where they create best, in their studios!

These are just an overview of some of the things that the festival offers, to find out more visit the official International Quilt Festival of Ireland website at http://www.IQFOI.com. But if you're ready to join us for this exciting adventure use the navigation to the left to find a departure city nearest to you and contact us to join in the fun! Don't see a location near you? Contact us for more assistance, we are constantly working on putting together packages to the International Quilt Festival of Ireland from every major city.
